When I was younger, my mom worked for a photography studio back in the day before digital photography. She was the one in the dark room creating all of the prints. I remember going into work with her during the summers and watching this process. It was so amazing to me to watch as the once blank paper came out of the machine with someone’s memory captured on that glossy paper. As I would look at all of the prints, I could catch a glimpse into people’s lives. I remember those summers; my sister and I would take our disposable cameras and take pictures of everything so we could attempt to remember the entire summer. I love to look back at those pictures and I laugh at our silly photo shoots that we put on using up an entire roll of film of us in the flower garden with our dolls. Looking at the photos brings back so many memories, even the ridiculous and silly ones, which could have been lost or forgotten had they not been captured on film. I want you to have that same opportunity; to look back at your photos and to laugh at the silly moments, to rejoice at the victories and achievements in life, and to remember the small things that you hope to never forget. I want to capture these memories for you to cherish forever; whether it be high school graduation, an engagement, beginning a family, a newborn baby, or even photos of everyday life, I want to capture your life stories.
